Water is becoming a more and more valuable resource, with the rising cost of water supply bills and increasing pressure to reduce waste. A rain water harvesting system can help to reduce both of these. A typical system is designed to collect rain water as it falls and direct it to a storage tank either above or below ground.
Rain water harvesting
The rain water can be collected via the rain water drainage system, or in some cases through permeable paving. Any un-wanted debris is filtered out as it passes into the tank.
As the incoming water introduces oxygen, this maintains an aerobic condition within the system minimising odour within the storage tank.
The water can be accessed as required by means of a pumping system and used for
